I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
