I have gambled on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
