My Gambling Den Chemin de fer Variation Game

[ English ]

I have played countless of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
