Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

[ English ]

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you build up your bank roll, you feel as though you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops out.

Blackjack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are bizarre. As is the case with the popular fair experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seemingly be going well for awhile before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a bettor that shall be able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game simply because the game of blackjack is choked full of them.

If you like the small coaster, 1 that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the mad ride is with a bigger wager, then hop aboard for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is an awesome feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you do not, you will not necessarily recollect how much you enjoyed the good life while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride and your head in the sky. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t clearly remember how "high up" you went but you will always remember that disastrous drop as clear as day.
